It is hard to accurately depict everything I’ve learned at my time at UQAT, but I will say this short list:
-Have experienced making many games from the ground-up, from small teams for Game Jams to 30 people months-long projects.
-Have improved at Coding substantially in Unity and Unreal.
-Have learned how to work as a group and organize teams, workflows and pipelines like never before.
And too much else to be encapsulated here.

Worked for a Summer of COVID at a distance as video game tester.
I cannot say much about the projects I playtested, but I’ve learned much about the different uses of JIRA and the software packages used to communicate and organize information’s within AAA companies.

2018-2019
Worked in the family dentistry business fulltime for a year, and then part-time.
Learned through osmosis how to run a company and the inner workings of the production line. I also learned how to melt wax in the shape of a smile.
Spent a most of my time working the CAD machines, scanning and 3D printing/excavating things.

Pre-2018
Learned Mathematics and Physics equations that are still useful today when coding vectors in engine.
Specialized in chemistry and biology, which only ended up being useful to write up an RPG scientist character with a very scientifically accurate backstory.
I also did a year studying Film and Cinema.
